10 simple steps to make your printed documents more accessible

  1. Use an easy to read font like Arial
  2. Use size 12pt and larger to make text more legible
  3. Avoid putting text over images

  5. Align text to the left
  6. Use simple, clear language
  7. Offering a 16pt version of your document may help some visually impaired readers.
  8. Split information into short sections with headings.
  9. Use lots of headings.
  10. Avoid using all-capital letters.
