Emma is the founding director of local practice Grey Bear Chartered Architect. Emma has over 12 years experience in architecture, working both in Guernsey and in the UK. After 7 years of study, Emma obtained first class honours at both Portsmouth and Westminster universities and is now a fully qualified Chartered Architect. As an architect, Emma has undertaken a wide variety of residential, commercial and retail projects, and specialises in accessible housing and inclusive design. Having undertaken training in designing for people with autism through the National Autistic Society (NAS) and accessibility training with the Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE), Emma has a wide variety of experience designing for Lifetime Homes and wheelchair-accessible housing as well as designing for neurological conditions and hearing loss.
